Hi, im struggling atm im getting hot and cold flushes all the time for the last few days. Its hard to sleep as im too hot under the blanket but too clod out, but the change happens so fast. I can go from being freezing one minute to sweating the next then back again. Even when I have had a temperature it hasn't happened this quick. Anyone else had this before?

Call 111.

Heratnumber7 · 17/09/2018 22:45

Are you confined to bed, or have you been able to go to work?
Have you tried any medication? Paracetamol is good god a fever.

Infection of some sort ?

cantfindname · 17/09/2018 23:14

I had something very similar three weeks ago and still not 100% over it.. but I am a lot older. Afraid I gave up, went to bed with lots of drinks and stayed there for as long as I could. When I was in the cold phases I was shaking so much I couldn't stand. Not at all pleasant.

Get well soon.

Big drink of water and paracetamol. If no improvement, call 111.

Singlenotsingle · 17/09/2018 23:27

I have the same right now (amongst other issues). Just a virus that's going round. I wouldn't have thought there's much that 111 can do x

UselessTina · 18/09/2018 02:31

Sounds just like meno to me

Heratnumber7 · 18/09/2018 21:38

I think if it's just "annoying", I'd recommend paracetamol and get on with stuff.

If it becomes more than annoying and you feel you can't get out of bed, either call GP or 111.
