Just like a grin? Friend texted me some good news for her so I replied that I was happy...then wasn't sure what the ':D' response meant!!

Yes, a cheesy grin

Sparklingbrook · 17/09/2018 20:40

Yes a grin, but it doesn't really work does it? Grin

If you look at it sideways it's 2 eyes and a big smiley mouth. It predates emojis!

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 17/09/2018 20:43

It's old timey school emojis, from when your high tech brick could manage three lines of text.

gamerchick · 17/09/2018 20:44

Christ I'm feeling me age now Grin

Sparklingbrook · 17/09/2018 20:48

So do you assume people that do :D have antiquated devices? Grin

LanguidLobster · 17/09/2018 21:52

Well...we've been through quite a lot together. I couldn't stop her from going severely schizophrenic basically.

I thought it was a tongue stick out thing but wasn't quite sure. Last time she was upset she burnt the house down Grin

I haven't even seen her in years but am still extremely fond of her, just wasn't sure about the the :D
