What isn't it recommended for?

SLoisachtal · 17/09/2018 18:59

I doubt that one tin of Heinz ravioli will kill you!!!! Just eat if!

PotteringAlong · 17/09/2018 18:59

Not recommended for what?

TeaAndNoSympathy · 17/09/2018 19:05

Why wouldn’t you be able to eat Heinz ravioli? Unless you need to avoid gluten or tomatoes or whatever it’s fine.

Are you pregnant and thinking it’s ‘banned’ for some reason? It’s really really not.

LIZS · 17/09/2018 19:08

Sugary? Aren't all Heinz tomato based products similar?

IHaveBrilloHair · 17/09/2018 19:09

It's fine, unless you have a tinned ravioli allergy.

Wolfiefan · 17/09/2018 19:12

Well I doubt it’s recommended if you eat the tin too. Or if you use it as an enema? Shock
Or do you mean you’re pregnant and shouldn’t eat anything other than quinoa and mung beans? Confused

Stephros3 · 17/09/2018 19:20

No I'm pregnant..

Wolfiefan · 17/09/2018 19:25

Unless Heinz has started using arsenic as a seasoning then I would say crack on. Grin

MiddlingMum · 17/09/2018 19:28

Sainsburys own is nicer than Heinz.

gunnergirl · 17/09/2018 19:29

in fact I was it saying to my dd and dgd yesterday how I love ravioli on toast as a treat in winter I say go for it

dementedpixie · 17/09/2018 19:34

Where have you seen it as not recommended? Have it if you want as it isn't on any avoid list I've ever seen

PotteringAlong · 17/09/2018 21:45

But even being pregnant why can you not eat it? Confused

SerenDippitty · 17/09/2018 22:18

Tinned Heinz spag Bol was one of my favourite comfort foods at one time. Haven’t had it in about 30 years though!

Sure the ravioli won’t do you any harm!

BitOfFun · 17/09/2018 22:20

Ravioli on toast, mmmmmm...

Sorry, what was the question?

Fatted · 17/09/2018 22:21

FFS! Slimming world are telling me there's syns in tinned spaghetti now and now the fucking NHS wants to take away my precious Ravioli! I can't cope with this!!

NormHonal · 17/09/2018 22:24

The Tinned Ravioli Police can fuck the fuck off, then fuck off some more.

FWIW I lived on Quavers for both pregnancies. Or are they banned too?

PeterPiperPickedSeaShells · 17/09/2018 22:26

Well it will never win "dinner of the year" award, but it's not gonna kill ya!

Chimchar · 17/09/2018 23:33

I love it with some sliced cheddar on top too. Mmmmm!

Wolfiefan · 17/09/2018 23:35

Finally some sense. YYYY to cheddar on top. Yum!! Grin

rainbowsandsmiles · 18/09/2018 00:11

Why can't you eat tinned ravioli when pregnant? Two children here and that's a new one to me! (Admittedly I haven't been pregnant for 11 years now but still!

GulagMilkMonitor · 18/09/2018 00:24

Spag bol in a tin on toast got me through my last pregnancy.

OlennasWimple · 18/09/2018 00:28

Unless they have invented some new type of tinned ravioli contained unpasteurised cheese in a peanut and shellfish sauce, I can't think what on earth could be it that makes it unsuitable for pregnant women

DrCoconut · 18/09/2018 00:42

I could only eat that sort of thing for a lot of my pregnancies. Most healthy options would have come straight back up.
