I'd toss little new potatoes/Charlottes in 30-40 minutes before eating, myself.

Spoon we don't have time for that tomorrow - hence the ones in tins.

I read on here that they'd work well in a stew, which will be in the slow cooker for when we get in before heading straight back out.
