Anyone been to Kos in October

Mid to late October

Any experience of holidays here late in season?

3 of us including dc who loves water slides

Got visions of sitting in coat gibbering with my book

Been to Corfu and it was very nice - warm in the day but light jacket in the evenings.

We've been to rhodes at the beginning of October a few times

Its lovely...so warm and the sea is lovely and warm as well

Costa Blanca will be warmer in October. And loads of places with water slides.

Rhodes in October was plenty warm for me. Mid 20s in the day and cooler at night.

Looking at Balearics now

If you want hot weather in October, I can recommend the Canary Islands. We went to Tenerife and had a fantastic time. There is an awesome water park there (Siam Park) which had no queues out of season.

Also, it's not just beach stuff, there is a volcano to go up, and you can go dolphin watching on boats, etc.

We went to kos last October. The 2nd week (7-14th or thereabouts). It was warm but not hot ( low 20s) Not really sunbathing weather, I was happy enough at the side of the pool in shorts an tshirt reading a book, but was only tempted into the pool once. The kids were happy in the pool but were chilly when they got out. We were just north of kos town, and I think suffered from sea breezes, it was warmer if you were in kos town or inland a bit.
