Im confused, if your fashion label is looking £4k per day how can that be seen as a success?

A lot of firms technically lose money in he first few years because any money it makes goes back into the business. Took amazon bloody ages to break even.

but with Amazon it was part of a long term plan, they spent a lot of money buying other businesses etc

Depends on how long term the plan is. A lot of businesses make an initial loss

I really like VB. I can’t afford her clothes but I think she’s so classic and stylish

Well that’s just goes to show that maybe she’s keeping up appearances but on a grander scale
