What has made you happy this weekend?

Mine are:

Bought Amber glass bottles for hand wash and a massive bottle of refill. Trying to be eco friendly. They make me happy every time I use them.

Weeded my front garden and pavement, picked up all the litter, cut back the lavender and ornamental grass. Makes me happy every time I look at my lovely best front garden.

Sample hair product my hairdresser gave me. Used this morning and smells lush.

Conkers. Just because.

Aaah happy days!

I have yet another. I made THE BEST chicken gravy I have ever made. I think probably due to the quality of the Ocado Free Range Chuck. But it was absolutely lush!

Seeing my lovely aunt should have been my mum and spending time with her in a pub, hearing tales of her mad behaviour when she worked there, George Clooney’s local these days.

A load of my friends came to visit me in London which was lovely! We had a beautiful afternoon tea in a posh hotel and there was lots of baby talk.

Other highlights include; baking cupcakes and a tray bake, taking an hours long bath with a gazillion different products, trying out said products, visiting a lovely farmers market and buying lots of fresh produce and telling my ex to F off when he called me crying down the phone asking me to take him back.

DS1 who is 7 and autistic started a new sport today, something he loves watching and has been dying to join for a long time, but anxiety stopped him joining last season. He has worked so hard on learning one of the skills needed and tonight he really held his own and did so well, I am so proud of him and happy for him. I could cry everytime I think of it.

Some lovely things on here.

Mine seems less significant really, but we have not long moved, we lived in our last house for 16 years but I was never really happy. Today, I walked up to the little Tesco for milk I should just get a cow for the back garden , dd2 was on her scooter in front of me and I was just so happy, I felt such happiness and a feeling of being home and settled.

In the old house the walk to the shops was through a park and around a lake, now we just walk down roads with houses but it still felt beautiful.

And seeing dd2 playing in the garden was just lovely - and then she stood up in her cosy coupe to get it up the step - it was so cute, looked like she had a cosy coupe dress on. (she's 6 and determined to fit in it as long as possible)

My son coming back from scout camp and telling me that he gave £2 (out of his total of £5 pocket money) to a boy who was crying and who wanted to buy his grandfather a present but didn't have any money. I love my son for his kindness.

Having my husband at home and talking about our future plans. Still no decisions but for the moment that’s ok
