Happy Sunday everyone.

*What are your plans for the day?
*
I'm going to get my clean on in the kitchen this morning, give it a good scrub. Then nip to Aldis for some bits of shopping I need, make a quick lunch before we head out to visit family for a couple of hours then home for tea (dinner if you're not from up north lol) and baths followed by early nights all around.

Hope you all have a wonderful day xz

Already scrubbed my kitchen. It's fair gleaming. Lunch with family.

Then can't decide whether we are having tea or dinner this evening now as we live on the same latitude as Grantham, so not sure now whether we are Northerner's or Southerner's. So, Sunday now in disarray.

VanillaSugary · 16/09/2018 08:28

It is neither tea nor dinner. It is supper.

DollyWilde · 16/09/2018 08:29

Had a lovely lie in (DH away, so starfished all night!) and just having a cuppa and catching up with the world. Out for Sunday lunch today as it’s a friend’s birthday, so need to nip out and pick up her present and then head onto the pub. Hoping for a lovely long lunch then heading home as I need to catch the supermarket before it closes, for cat food and carpet cleaner as I managed to drop an eyeshadow on the carpet when tidying up yesterday. Have a wash to put on, then I think it will be bath and bed!

Coolaschmoola · 16/09/2018 08:34

We're emptying my mum's house as the sale completes on Friday.

Feeling very bereft as I grew up there and it's the last big thing. To me Mum and home were synonymous. She's gone and now home is going too.

Coolaschmoola · 16/09/2018 08:34

Sorry for the sad post. We're all going out for dinner later though.

mumof2sarah · 16/09/2018 08:39

@Coolaschmoola sorry to hear about your mum. Sending you lots of love and thoughts at this difficult time Thanks

I hope the rest of you enjoy your trips to the pubs/shopping/lunch/dinner/supper etc etc. I'm usually a sloth on a Sunday but felt like my depression was stirring more by having that day so I've planned it all out and will see whether I get my usual Sunday stupor changing it up a bit x

I'm chilling with my DD who started school last week.

Nowt special planned but may take her to church in a mo. If we can get dressed on time. We had to switch church as our old one didn't have a school attached so this will be the first time at proper Sunday school.

I foresee some crafting and film watching this afternoon though.

surroundedbyblondes · 16/09/2018 08:46

Currently in our bed with DD2 who is poorly and had a hard time sleeping last night.

DH will take DD1 for a bike ride shortly. She has to get herself from school to the local swimming pool on Thursday for swimming lessons and they want to practise the route so she feels confident with it when she has to do it without an adult there.

Later on: washing, cleaning and some kind of dinner prep.

Easy, simple, cosy day

Arrowfanatic · 16/09/2018 08:46

I need to be at karate training in 20 minutes and I'm still sat in pyjamas.

Anyway, karate training till about midday. Then I need to pop to the supermarket for a card and gift as my youngest is off to a birthday party and I completely forgot.

Then after that it'll be dinner, baths and bed. We were all out late last night but as usual my kids were up with the larks so we're all tired and will need the early night.

topcat2014 · 16/09/2018 08:46

Aldi for 10:00, beef casserole and jacket potatoes for lunch - casserole made yesterday, swimming later. bell ringing for evening service.

Don't do the morning one as it clashes with Aldi, and don't attend church itself.

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 16/09/2018 08:48

Getting shouted at by my toddler and infant son plus trying to fathom why my freezer decided to defrost itself and piss water everywhere when we were away on holidays.

Plus: buying more towels.

TheEverywhereBear · 16/09/2018 08:50

Dh and Dd are downstairs making bacon sandwiches and I'm mnetting in bed.

We're planning to go for a walk later but other than that we're staying at home. It's been a busy few weeks and the house has suffered so we're planning to do a big sort out.

Dh is going to do a roast and my friend gave me some of her first homegrown plums so I'm going to make a crumble.

bigchris · 16/09/2018 08:51

I'm so jealous of all your Sunday lunches ! I'm working 10 to 4

Cheesymonster · 16/09/2018 08:54

Still in PJs eating toast. Then me and DD will watch a film whilst DH plays football. Going to a carvery for lunch then we'll visit MIL.

gottachangethename1 · 16/09/2018 08:57

Feel poorly (virus) so laying in bed at the moment. Adult dd wants me to go clothes shopping with her later, but not really up for it. Need to clean house a bit too, ready for the week ahead but can’t even face that today Sad

Justanotheruser01 · 16/09/2018 08:59

Sat in my pjs and dressing gown think we will head out for breckfast in a little while. Not much really today

DollyWilde · 16/09/2018 09:11

Ah liquidrevolution, you’re giving me the guilts, I was planning on doing church this weekend but would be too tight to buy the birthday present and get to lunch on time. Poor planning! Next weekend....

(I was also planning on going for a run but that’s gone in a broadly similar direction..)

Clutterbugsmum · 16/09/2018 09:11

Need to go have a quick shower,

Then clean the bathroom/en suite, then clean kitchen.

Make dinner, some no bake granola bars.

Then we need to pop out to my sister's but stopping to look for a new fridge freezer.

Make sure dd1 & DD2 do their homework and get bags ready for school tomorrow.

Sparklingbrook · 16/09/2018 09:17

I really need to put the house back together. DS1 has gone back to Uni so I was planning to put all the clutter still in his room away and have a general tidy up. But can't seem to get started.

I am currently sitting on the sofa drinking coffee though. Grin

LastOneDancing · 16/09/2018 09:18

Ive been up with the kids since 7 playing slime and MNing.
The DC are going to the GPs for a couple of hours now so I can go for a long run in my favourite spot & DH can have some peace (poor love).
Then lunch, swim, bike ride and home, pizza for tea (Midlands), baths all around then the joy of ironing school uniform before bed.

This post makes us sound like a sporty family, which is so far from the truth Grin

bluesky45 · 16/09/2018 09:20

We have my ds first birthday party this afternoon. Did most of the prep last night so just about to get up and get us all ready and then do the last bits of decorating/get some more chairs out! Had a lovely morning lazing in bed although it looks like ds has come down with a bit of a cold so hopefully that won't ruin his party and birthday! I spent hours making his cake, it can't go to waste!!

WooYa · 16/09/2018 09:22

I had a lovely lie in, going to eat a bacon butty (made by DH) then I'm having a bath (alone! Without DS) then off to DM for a belated birthday toast Grin
Have a great Sunday people ThanksCakeBrew

EnglishRose1320 · 16/09/2018 09:22

Lazing in bed atm, need to get up and get ready for church. Will take the DC's and leave oh to have a lie in, it's his birthday. Then back for presents and lunch. Then a chilled family afternoon. Possibly out for a birthday dinner (will depend on ds1, aniexty is sky high atm)
Then the usual getting ready for school/work etc. Hopefully early ish bedtimes.

Bluesheep8 · 16/09/2018 09:28

I'm recovering from last night/This morning. Had an old friend of DP's over for the night. Had fajitas and far too much wine and put the world to rights until about 3am. Gentle day today for us, going to make roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for tea...

sickmumma · 16/09/2018 09:31

Just about to leave to watch DS play his football match, it's the dogs birthday today so after lunch going to do a nice family walk in the woods (daughter wants to bug hunt) then off to MIL for dinner which we do every Sunday and back home for bed and bath before school tomorrow!

Monday is one of my days off so most cleaning gets done then!
