Some 'me' time today - what to do?

So, got up at dawn, changed the beds, dusted, hoovered everywhere. DC's homework done, uniforms ironed, shoes cleaned, dog walked and cat polished. DH is away at the bottom of the garden sorting out the recycling and DC's have gone to end of the lane to post a letter.

I have 3.5 minutes before the house is a cacophony again, preparing lunch for the grandparents. So what to do with a little me time? Bath and candles, nails done, film and chocolates, read a book? Or I thought I might go into town for a coffee.

Are they back yet?

Saggital · 16/09/2018 08:15

Fuck.....yes. Sad

Peeling carrots and parsnips now. Oh well. Next Saturday I have 17 minutes free when DH drops the DC's off at a party in the next village. Can't wait.

I feel so guilty though. I had 9 seconds of impure thoughts while peeling a carrot.
