Stressed out parent learning & Adhd

My son has a genetic condition which has caused learning difficulties and he also has ADHD. I'm finding I'm getting very stressed 'in the moment when he won't follow instructions. I feel the pressure building up in my head and stomach and (genuinely) feel I'm going to have a stroke or burst a blood vessel! This can't be good for my health but don't know how to handle it more calmly or de-stress. Literally I was wrestling scissors off him earlier. Meditation and mindfulness seem more appropriate for use when you're on you're own and not 'on the battlefield' as such. Any ideas?

You may be better off in special needs chat. For me I take calms, I deep breath and if all else fails I put mine and his shoes on and we walk march until we both feel calmer. He has asd and suspected adhd

I use this breathing technique for in the moment. It’s a long video but i’ve found it incredibly helpful. Also progressive muscle relaxation. Practice like the meditation then in the moment can just tense one muscle to help.
