5 supermarket donuts is a portion !

LittleBookofCalm · 15/09/2018 20:02

Morrisons make the absolute best donuts

BennysBiscuits · 15/09/2018 20:05

I once ate a fabulous donut as I was walking home. But it didn't have any jam in it. I was disappointed because it did have the injection hole. When I got through my own doorway & looked in the hall mirror I found the jam... Yup, it had dripped out of the other hole with every bite and the whole fecking lot had dribbled down my coat. What a prat. Blush

@AnotherOriginalUsername I absolutely agree

Loyaultemelie · 15/09/2018 21:07

Chocolate hazelnut doughnuts? Why have I never seen these and how do I only discover this when Lidl is closed Shock

frodo1 · 15/09/2018 21:10

Sainsburys jam doughnuts are simply The Best ever!

Marmite27 · 15/09/2018 21:11

I worked in The Morrison’s bakery when I was asked in 6th form, the machine to put the jam in is very satisfying.

I’d ‘double jam’ for the right price Grin -usually a double vodka-

Nemesia · 15/09/2018 21:12

Morrison's doughnuts are also vegan. The salted caramel ones are amazing!

Blameanamechange · 15/09/2018 21:12

Another vote for Sainsburys! Not keen on Morrisons.

TeaAddict235 · 15/09/2018 21:14

Stop it people, I'm abroad! AngryAngryAngry

Geekster1963 · 15/09/2018 21:19

The best jam doughnuts are from Cooplands properly coated in sugar they are lovely. I have one every Friday Grin

Danceintherain2018 · 15/09/2018 21:20

Sainsburys bakery is better Wink

WickedGoodDoge · 15/09/2018 22:42

Does anyone else now want to go round all the supermarkets tomorrow buying doughnuts to sample? Just to doublecheck which one currently has the best...

hugoagogo · 16/09/2018 11:05

I am tempted to try the morrisons ones, I have not found their bakery products to be very good in the past. It's been a while though maybe they have improved!?

they are lovely and oily

Ruffian · 16/09/2018 13:41

I used to love Sainsburys when they were soft and had that lovely dusting sugar but now they're just ordinary and disappointing

EggysMom · 16/09/2018 13:43

Disappointed by the jam doughnuts bought from Asda yesterday - covered in icing sugar rather than granulated or caster sugar. Icing sugar. Bleurgh.

doctorboo · 16/09/2018 14:54

Does Aldi do doughnuts?

MismatchedStripySocks · 16/09/2018 15:04

Lurve doughnuts! Got 5 for 30p in Sainsbury’s yesterday but had to share with the family....no 😥

AamdC · 16/09/2018 15:12

They are even nicer though when they are ever so slightly stalr IMO but just started slimming world so cant have themHmm

WinkysTeatowel · 16/09/2018 15:14

Morrison's Cinnamon Swirls are fab. Seems really hard to get anything other than a Cinnamon Whirl (pastry) everywhere else but the Morrison's ones are doughy and delicious.

Sainsbury's do the best supermarket Jam doughnuts.

AamdC · 16/09/2018 15:14

Stale*

hugoagogo · 16/09/2018 18:36

I like that the asda ones have icing sugar, not a fan of crunchy sugar on things.
I plan to do some taste testing tomorrow, do pret still do doughnuts? I remember them being pretty tasty.

I'd kill for a doughnut (or 3) right now...
