Bra advice please for small sporty teen

Dd (14) has just started regularly wearing a bra and hates them, claiming even the plainest, softest teen bra is uncomfortable. Up until recently she has worn a sporty crop top but it has absolutely no support. Is there anything out there that's crop top style but has a bit of support. She is pretty tiny. Currently wearing a 28A. Any ideas much appreciated.

What is it she finds uncomfortable? The band or the straps?

That’s a Nike sports bra that seems more of a supportive crop top. Next has quite a few other options.

Does she really need to wear a bra at all? Most people I know in their late teens to twenties now don't bother unless they're a C or bigger. Its just more fashionable now not to. A 28A hardly needs support!!

18 yo DD (who is small) tends to wear sports bras, the sort that are like crop tops but with racer backs or complicated woven straps. Lots in sports ranges or even Primark.

It's fashionable for teenagers not to wear a bra Hmm

Thanks for the ideas. I think it's the fastening at the back that she finds uncomfortable. Interesting about teens not wearing bras. I think most of her friends do, so she wants to as well. Am going out today so will have a look in Primark and Sports Direct.

Chansey - the Next bras look ideal. Thanks

Are you sure the size is correct? An A cup means only 1 inch difference between under bust and across the bust measurements. She maybe (probably) needs a bigger cup. My 14 year old dd is currently in a 30D and is in need of a bigger cup but it's hard to find bigger ones with no underwire

What about these? I have them for DD10 and they are very stretchy so fit tighter than the cotton M&S crop tops.

@dementedpixie - Bravissimo sell non padded bras, there’s some nice looking ones by Cleo and Freya. Not cheap but I think a good bra is worth the £. (28G here, I was a C cup when I was 12 Angry)

Sorry, I meant they sell non wired bras!
