I've measured the room.

The height is 232cm

Walls 338cm x 3.

How many rolls will I need?

It will depend on the Match of the paper. Some you will have a big pattern match

ICantBelieveIDidThis · 15/09/2018 08:55

Depends on the width of the rolls and the pattern repeat.

ICantBelieveIDidThis · 15/09/2018 08:56

And the length of each roll.

What is on the fourth wall?

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 15/09/2018 09:14

I have a feeling that it’s roughly three drops per roll, but it’s so long since Inpapered, I can’t really remember. A big pattern repeat will have more wastage.

Beebeebeek · 15/09/2018 09:17

It's not much of a pattern match as it's really small stars. I've attached photos - hope that helps!

The 4th wall is mainly window so only the tiniest bit to paper.

Without knowing the width of the roll of wallpaper and how many metres are in a roll, how are we supposed to tell you how many rolls you need? 🤔

Sirzy · 15/09/2018 10:17

53cm is a pretty big match, means you will lose 53cm from each stretch.

Buy more than you think you will need, you can return any unused rolls to b and q easily.

MischaB · 15/09/2018 10:18

Sorry, missed the second photo!

Sirzy · 15/09/2018 10:25

About 7 drops per wall. 3 drops per roll so 7 rolls. Get 8 to be on the safe side.
(If my Saturday morning Maths is right!)

Yes, agree with Sirzy. 8 rolls.

ICantBelieveIDidThis · 15/09/2018 10:36

10m roll

52cm width

53cm pattern repeat.

Walls width 338cm x 3 = 1014cm

Wall height 232cm

1014 ÷ 52 = 19.5

You'll need 20 drops of paper.

232 ÷ 53 = 4.3773584906

You'll need 5 (ish) pattern repeats per wall.

53cm x 5 = 265cm allowed per wall, this should account for pattern matching.

265cm x 20 = 5,300cm

5300cm ÷ 100 = 53 metres.

As each roll is 10 metres long, you'll need at least 6 rolls, maybe 7 to be sure.

Thank you :)
