Class bear already!

My son has brought home the class bear at the end of his first week in the nursery class. I'm feeling the pressure! Grin How much do you usually do? It's an A4 size book - do we do 1 page? A couple of photos and a caption for each? I knew this was coming but was banking on being able to copy what others had done, not having the gaping expanse of an empty book...

Mine always incorporated a trip to the washing machine, never any photos (thankfully not required) and maybe a trip in the car where nobody would see the pointless tatty bastard him

Are you the first entry?

We used to get it after he had been to Lapland, Disneyworld and Skiing. Set the bar v low!

Option 1) couple of nice pics with captions and a short paragraph of what 'bear ' got up to.
Option 2) no pics and quick paragraph of bear ditching you and going off on a secret mission all weekend, coming back exhausted and filthy needing a bath.
( usually used when you forget about him till Sunday night )

DS2 (Nursery) got it last Friday. First entry. He managed a big orange circle and a squiggle of pencil. I put 'We played football.' underneath. No photos.

My boy brought the bear home when he had a week off so we could have some family outing oh my god the pressure as this book has been going for the last 2 years. I just did 3 pages with a photo from each trip or fun activity and a few sentences about what we did that day ending with my boy asleep with the bear saying what a tiring week. When he returned the read it all and showed it off at circle time. My boy loved it.
