What about the typhoon in the Philippines?

Just that really, the Philippine are going to get battered by a storm the size of Florence and it's not mentioned anywhere? Is the US so utterly important that the Philippines has just disappeared?

I was just on netweather looking at information on that typhoon, looks horrendous and much worse than Florence but I guess as they don't speak English they aren't as interesting.

It's getting the same coverage on the BBC as America 🤷

It got about a minute compared to five, it's five times the size and a large proportion of the population live in significantly less substantial homes. Sustained winds are 260 mph 🤷‍♀️

It's not getting anywhere near the same coverage.
