Do you have a tree near your washing line? They've probably just fallen off a plant or tree. I'd just brush them off and reach if you feel it's necessary. I Solent be getting too stressed over them!

NannyR · 14/09/2018 18:43

i wouldn't, not Solent!

NannyR · 14/09/2018 18:43

rewash, not reach, bloody typos!

LardLizard · 14/09/2018 18:45

Not close by no
Have a tiny tree in the corner but not near the washing machine
Are they basically eating the fabric ?! Do I now have an infestation ?

They look like drain fly larvae to me. Were the clothes in the machine a while begore hanging out. We had them coming up the bathroom sink and crawling round. Bleach and a kettle of boiling water down the plug dealt with them. I'd run your machine empty on a hot wash with some bleach just in case.

LardLizard · 14/09/2018 23:15

No I don’t think they were left in the washing machine
I don’t tend to do that as paranoid it will break
