Any recommendations? Just potentially planning a trip and timings mean that there is a spare couple of hours in the day. Shopping is a possibility, but many won't want that. Any ideas??

How about Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens? They're adjacent and make up a huge area. Download a map from the Royal Parks website www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/hyde-park, and suggest your students try to find/see as many landmarks as possible.

Or Green Park and St James's Park www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/green-park - also adjacent to each other. But in a smaller area than HP and KG!

What about a hunt/trail type thing? There are a few providers including

Offer a prize for the first ones back to the meeting point.

Covent Garden? Plenty to see and shops for those that want them.

Lovely ideas - will definitely look at the trails and Covent Garden is quite compact isn't it ?
