Help me with a powerpoint presentation!!!

OK.
I've done the basic slides.
It's for a student lecture.
There are about 5 points on each slide.
I've used some of the double box slides
It just looks BORING
I've used a basic design-didn't want it to be busy
HOW CAN I MAKE IT LOOK MORE INTERESTING (And can you use images from Google or are they copyrighted?)

SmartArt? It’s part of Ppoint already - and you can convert existing text

There is a good website called canvas which you can download images from for free. You can add text to them before you download, or just down lad the image on its own, and add it to your paste it into your slide

Ditch most of the text, PowerPoint should be a backdrop to the main show which is you speaking.

What will make your lecture interesting is you, not PowerPoint.

Back when I waa at university, the best lecturers were the ones that used the old-fashioned OHPs. Food for thought.

Yeah I'm making notes for speaking as I've done the PPT format.
