Boss asked me to come up with a way of organising a big crowd into following the right leader. Think huge crowd students that need to follow the right teacher. Boss suggested maybe they held different colour balloons or a coloured flag on a stick - what else could I use feel like I’m missing the obvious?! Caps wouldn’t be appropriate in the setting.

Umbrellas? Have each group all wearing the same colour vest so everyone in a group can identify each other and stick together?

HoleyCoMoley · 14/09/2018 17:14

Same colour teeshirrs or swearshirts, flag on a stick is ok but i would feel a right tit doing that, did you watch the apprentice on their day out in France, onwards and upwards, tally hoBlush

Even getting 6 different coloured attention sticks seems impossible 🤔

Wooden spoons?

DunesOfSand · 14/09/2018 17:21

Helium balloons in different numbers/shapes/colours?

HoleyCoMoley · 14/09/2018 17:23

How many will it be for

CocoRed · 14/09/2018 17:24

Just 6x different colours

How many of each colour, you don't want to end up spending loads.

SoupDragon · 14/09/2018 17:26

If you can’t find 6 different colours, you could try 6 different things.

MPForFlydaleNorth · 14/09/2018 17:26

Does it have to be colours? Could you number everyone so all the 1's go together, all the 2's etc?

SoupDragon · 14/09/2018 17:27

I went to a restaurant once that handed out soft toys rather than the traditional numbered wooden spoons.

BertieBotts · 14/09/2018 17:29

DS has been to things like this and they use soft toy animals, but that might feel a bit childish.

Why not balloons? Or painted/coloured paper plates?

Why is it hard to colour a stick??

CocoRed · 14/09/2018 17:32

It’s a professional setting so balloons etc don’t feel quite right.
Just need 6 x different colours one for each leader to move their group along .
Hmm really think flags might be my only option.

Coloured clipboards that can be held in the air? Much more Professional than balloons

CocoRed · 14/09/2018 19:12

Thank you clipboards might work!
Definitely needed someones else’s brain as I couldn’t even spell it correctly in the title 🙈

Coloured clipboards, with the group leader wearing a top/jacket in the same colour?
