Not even a new vacuum cleaner, but a part for the old one

Honestly, the post man came to the door and I actually said out loud "oooo, it's here!" and was even slightly nervous just in case it wasn't the little bit of plastic I'd been waiting for! The disappointment would have been all consuming!

I was ridiculously excited on Tuesday when my personalised house name stickers arrived for the dustbins at my new house (£3 eBay)

I was excited when I took DS (2) to a new park today. It had a pirate ship and everything!

Needless to say DS spent 10 minutes poking a stick into a litter bin and then it started raining so we retreated to Costa.

I'm anxiously awaiting a new drive belt for my belt sander.

I'm not a sad boring old fart - really I'm not.

I NEED a working belt sander in my life.

Really I do.

One never knows when life and limb could be at risk without my belt sander - or any of my tools.

All my toys tools must work all the time, else I get anxious because of this risk.

I ordered a new cutlery drawer insert today and it should arrive tomorrow. I am pleased through and through.

I was extremely excited to get my magnetic phone holder for the car today- I only just realised there is an alternative to balancing it in precarious positions trying to read the directions on maps- and it was so easy to attach! Literally 20 seconds and my life is so much easier 😂

A new loo seat made my week.

A new peg bag that holds my ridiculous amount of pegs, has a drawstring close and is waterproof so I can leave it on the line. Utterly exhilarating hanging the washing out using it! Makes it so much more fun

You realise that you’ve spent 15 hours in the last 2 weeks researching which kitchen appliance to buy. Not even a big one like a cooker or dishwasher!

I get excited about breakfast in the Sainsbury's café. Also about my MN product tests arriving.

Actually doomclaw, we went to Croxfest last weekend and went to the pub afterwards, I was very excited about the pub's kids' play area! It was huuuuuge! There's a sign saying "Tell your Mum and Dad where you are", it's so big! It has a ship/castle.

I am getting a fibreglass cast for my broken ankle on Monday. Thinking about what colour I may be offered!

I've bought myself silicone spatulas (1 big, 2 small), there not a silicone tipped spatula, it's all once peice (no gaps for food or germs). I'm very excited I've been after new ones for ages.
