Fun bar recommendations in London

Day out in London next week. Looking for fun places to have a few drinks in the afternoon. Not worried about food as will probably eat elsewhere. More looking for somewhere quirky, interesting decor/atmosphere. Considering Old Street Records, Blues Kitchen and Zigfrid von Underbelly, which are all around Shoreditch. Anyone been to those? We could go anywhere though.

This is a fun place to go - it's on the terrace at Somerset House, overlooking the river www.somersethouse.org.uk/whats-on/somerset-house-terrace

Blues kitchen is awesome! Gets very busy though! But definitely worth the visit.
The roundhouse is also fab to go to, live music Grin

Ooh, SLoisachtal, that looks stunning.

We're only going to be there late afternoon/early evening, otherwise I'd have been well up for the live music wedding. I thought the interior just looked so interesting and the Blues Kitchen! Where is the Roundhouse? I might look into it for another time.

Cahoots I think opens at 4. You need to book as they give you a password. WW2 inspired and it's like stepping back in time with the decor. Great cocktails.

I'd looked at Cahoots. It looks amazing! I did just see if a suitable booking was available, which it is, but the dress code has made me think we wouldn't be allowed in Grin We're very jeans and trainers scruffy

Ah! I didn't realise it had a dress code, they must have caught me on a smart day then 😂

Shaka Zulu for drinks is quite fun. I also like 68 and Boston.

Zetter townhouse in Farringdon is quirky.

Mr Foggs? There's one in Mayfair and one in Covent Garden.
