Is this a thing? I didn't like my maiden name (pronounced and spelled wrong by everyone) and now I'm married the same thing happens with my married name. I know it shouldn't affect daily life but in my job surnames are used rather than first names. It really pisses me off and has caused problems with being spelled wrong etc. DH has the same annoyance and has his whole life.
Anyway DH and I have been thinking of changing our surname to his mother's maiden name. We have 1 child and 1 one the way imminently. Has anyone changed their whole family's surname and did it cause problems? Thanks!
