Just bought one for dd birthday. Where do I hbg it from and what do I hang it with - it has no string and no obvious place to tie any, id need to wrap it round its waist! We've had one before but I think it came on a string and I stood on a chair holding it. How do others do this?

Round it's belly on a tree

Camper82 · 14/09/2018 12:48

Could you make a hole in the top with a skewer and tie it up using that?

StealthPolarBear · 14/09/2018 12:51

Hmm we do have a suitable tree but the ground is fairly muddy. Will have a look at that. Good idea about making a hole and threading through

Has to be a tree. The last one we had was a bugger to break open.

Do people not do piñatas when it rains? I always assumed they were inside things

Throw it in the bin.

They're a menace where I live but it seems most people do them outdoors in public parks leaving rubbish everywhere (so not your situation, I understand).

It is done. It was decapitated!!

And I am pleased to report we caught all sweets and rubbish on a cloth.
