Just that, really.

Also, can you use MS office on a MacBook? Kids have to do stuff for school using MS office and email it in as homework.

We had a MacBook Air and now have a MacBook Pro. Both bought second hand, and the Air sold on. They work brilliantly, and seem such solid bits of kit.

My MacBook Pro is now ten years old, I've retired it frome day-to-day use because the track pad was getting a bit unreliable, but it still works fine with a mouse as desk top (being that old, it was also heavy). I've now gone for a MacBook Air, and as a PP said, the difference in weight is amazing. I would recomend you go for Apple Care if you can afford it, just in case.

As for MS Office, I have it, but prefer the Apple equivalents, KeyNote is much more flexible and intuative than PowerPoint, and Pages is nice than Word, and is completely flexible in terms of converting files to PDF, .doc, or .docx.
