My DD is nine and in year 5, her house at school held elections today for a vice captain. They were all told (the ones that wanted to stand for the role) that they couldn’t canvass for votes. But DD says one of her friends (whom I’m not keen on because she has bullied my DD in the past) did canvass for votes - and won the election. My DD came home in floods of tears at the unfairness of it all. What do I say to her. I’ve told her that I will tell the teacher on her behalf but she doesn’t want me to do that. I want her to have the message that cheaters don’t win...
