Pubes on my head!!

Why, oh why do I have pube like random hairs growing?

They are so coarse and annoying..

Straighteners just frazzle them

The rest of my hair is so long, swishy and healthy

Am I to be a pube head forever?

Oh OP I'm the same! But only at the front of my head. I've put it down to regrowth after having a baby 3 months ago. They're so thick though! Go so crispy if I straighten them.

Looks like hair that's been burnt accidently. I get them with straighteners on occasion when I'm rushing drying.

Thing is, these are really new hairs..

My hair is bra strap length so these appear to be new growth

I'm not big into straightening either but when my hair is wet they sit straight up

I'm 28 and only DC is four years old

Acquired Progressive Kinking of the Hair (APKH)

Hi my silky hair has suddenly changed to course crinkly hair i call them head pubes i can't stop pulling them out. Anyone experiencing same problem i'm going crazy.

Grey comes out rougher and kinky as it were- could it be the start of that?

No idea just throwing it out there!

Have you recently cut your hair? I had some at the front go like this after I cut it (myself) Andy hairdresser said sometimes the hair can go into 'shock'.

It's called "Acquired Progressive Kinking of Hair" i have it too
