Sat night/Sun morning... alone!!

Quite excited at this prospect. DH is visiting his parents and my Mum has offered to take DS. So I will be alone from tea time on Sat til about 11am.

I can't wait.

Silence. My tv. No Cbeebies. Bed to myself....

What else shall I do?

That sounds so good. I'd go out somewhere nice for dinner by myself and eat dessert. There would be wine drinking while I was in a long hot bath too, and an early morning walk followed by croissants and juice, by now I would be looking forward to someone coming home.

I rarely get alone time - always responsible to or for someone.

I'm planning on newly washed bed linen and clean pjs on too!

Expensive top quality take away, bottle of fine wine, newly-released film, draw the curtains and enjoy.

Do you want to go out or stay in?

I want to sleep. And lots of it. I'm so bloody exhausted at the moment. I have M.E. plus broken sleep of my own, plus DS waking in the night 3 times this week.

My ds hates food with spice in, so when he’s on PGL next week I’m having curry. And really hot chilli.
And I’m going to lie in the bath until my fingers go wrinkly, with music playing and no-one saying Mummy I can’t find my book/the remote/my homework.

....just nodded off at my desk...

I’d have a nice Chinese takeaway whilst watching a movie then I’d be in bed for a nice long night of sleep!

Take away or quick food from the supermarket yiu don't want to spend loads of time cooking and cleaning. Unless you love it?

I'd do some craft or do my nails.

What I’ve done when I have the house to myself.
Long soak in a hot bubble bath
Favourite body lotion and facial
Take out and glass of something nice
Bed in clean, freshly line dried bedding and PJs
Either a book or boxset binge
Whatever you do OP I hope you enjoy every moment

That sounds amazing! Ready meal, wine, early shower, PJs, sofa and tv would be my ideal Saturday night, then a lazy Sunday morning...walk the dog, drink tea and read. Enjoy!!

I usually slob on the sofa with a takeaway and pjs on . So good !

Lovely, what a treat! Definitely clean sheets and fresh pjs - star shaped in the middle of the bed! I'd grab a good book and not feel guilty that I was neglecting anybody, long phone call with my oldest friend, eat the stuff only I like and go for a long run the next morning. Enjoy, I'm feeling quite jealous!
