Seal on fridge (riveting thread alert)

We bought an American fridge freezer a few months ago. I noticed condensation in the fridge and googling suggested a damaged seal. Checked it all around and it looked fine so put it down to the dc having it open too long.

I've just looked from the side with the freezer door open and fridge door closed and noticed a long stretch of the seal that doesn't meet, it's down the middle so the top and bottom are ok but the middle has a gap.

Trouble is, we can't remember who we bought it from, have searched emails but no joy. Is there any way to fix it?

How disappointing. Was trying to visualise how a primarily aquatic mammal with no legs had made it on top of one of your kitchen appliances.

You can replace fridge seals generally, but you'd have to Google with your model number to see if you can get an official one or one compatible.

Have you checked the back of the fridge for any stickers from the seller? Or checked your credit card or bank statements for the transaction? That might work.

Good idea Flavia, I'll have a look.
