Having a shopping trip next month and have just noticed there's a Lakeland in the center, I've never bought anything there!
I bake every week if that helps, is there some gadget I'm missing out on?
tectonicplates · 12/09/2018 13:16
You need to buy EVERYTHING from Lakeland! I always want to buy the entire shop.

Oven cleaner, No Scrub bathroom cleaner (that’s had a name-change I think) and their thick oven gloves
SassitudeandSparkle · 12/09/2018 13:18
Liquorice, it's lovely!
SneakyGremlins · 12/09/2018 13:19
tectonic We're getting a train so no car to transport things! unless I fill a whole carriage with stuff?
TheWoollybacksWife · 12/09/2018 13:22
Oven liners. Both my ovens look pristine since I started using them.
One pound loaf tin liners. I can buy the two pound sized ones in Wilko or Poundland but can only get the smaller size in Lakeland. I use my one pound tins far more often than the two pound ones.
Every time I go in I pick up the hibiscus flower in syrup and put it down again. I'm definitely getting them for this Christmas.

Aluminium foil. Best quality ever.
SneakyGremlins · 12/09/2018 13:24
List is growing
not sure what an oven liner is
Jaffacakesfordinner · 12/09/2018 13:26
Cupcake cases.. the lakeland own white ones. They're the BEST.. and i do a lot of baking for people. True to word about being greaseproof etc. Think they do coloured ones too
TheWoollybacksWife · 12/09/2018 13:26
This is the oven liner. I bought the large one and it was enough for the floors of both my top and bottom ovens.
SneakyGremlins · 12/09/2018 13:28
Thanks Woolly!
Also, they have a WEBSITE?
I know where the rest of my day is going

Works for me as a cunning plan.
Their baking paper is the business - totally non stick AND they do pre-cut circles for your tins. The foil is so tough you can wash it and re-use it.
Pickabags - a selection of different sized plastic bags you can hang up in your cupboard and tear one of as you need it. I got some as a free gift once and thought "what do I need these for?" Now they;re the first things in the basket when I go.

Has anyone tried the baking tray sheet? www.lakeland.co.uk/5571/Magic+Reusable+Non-Stick+Baking+Tray+Liner+Sheet+33cm+x+1m
If it's genuinely reusable multiple times then I might give it a go but it looks quite flimsy in the pictures.
UnalliterativeGeorge · 12/09/2018 13:45
If you have a cat get one of their purple rubber brushes for the sofa. Best thing I've bought.
iamawoman · 12/09/2018 13:50
Can't believe I haven't heard of oven liners before!! My oven is shameful...is their ov3n cleaner better than all the others?
4forkssake · 12/09/2018 13:54
I'm fairly sure they do free delivery over £40 so I'd suggest if your getting the train, go for a look around it then order online for delivery. Looking at the website, the Christmas stuff seems to be on there too.
This is one of my must buys (in fact buy a couple)

SneakyGremlins · 12/09/2018 13:56
4forkssake That's a good idea actually, will do that
Toofle · 12/09/2018 13:57
If anything you've bought doesn't work properly, you can return it. Keep the receipt in case.
Rascallsall · 12/09/2018 13:59
The green bags that keep your fruit/veg fresh for longer in the fridge. I wouldn't be without them as they work so well and the bags seem to last for absolutely ages. Not very effective with salad leaves though, for these line a large plastic 'Tupperware' type box lined with a clean, damp J Cloth. And yes to most of the above. Happy shopping 😀

I'm a big fan of their reusable steel straws.
I also get gel colouring and Nielsen-Massey flavourings from there.
Silicone pastry mat is ace for rolling fondant to size.
ArtemisWeatherwax · 12/09/2018 14:12
Toaster prongs
Cake tin liners
Microwave rice steamer
Thesuzle · 12/09/2018 14:19
Oooh what fun
Their bambo ? Fibre dish cloths. Don’t stink and last a long time
Also those plastic clip things for securing bags once opened. Come in various sizes and colours
scaryteacher · 12/09/2018 14:22
