Toothache antibiotics hasn't cured?

I had what I thought was sinus related toothache for 10 days so finally went to the dentist who said they could see some infection and prescribed metrodinozale(sp?). I've just finished the course and the toothache is still there. It's not oh my God please shoot me now toothache but more a dull, tingly throbbing.

I had a partial root canal on that tooth a while ago when half the tooth fell off. Now it has a temporary filling and they've said any more root canal means the whole tooth will fracture so it will need to come out. Which is annoying as it's quite far forward.

If the ab's haven't worked is it worth rushing back? Anyone had this before?

It could be that your temporary filling is leaking. I would get that dealt with sooner rather than later.
