Popped in to Hull city centre for lunch today and witnessed a man brandishing a meat cleaver set fire to the carpet in Santander bank then run across to Barclays and attempt to do the same. He ran out of the bank avoiding the police that were first on the scene and made it to the Bus/Train station and was thankfully tasered by armed police. Scary stuff indeed. Lots of people wondering if it was a terror attack because of today’s date. Not sure how to do a link but lots of photos and videos on the HullLive website.
