Husband buying a car for me - V5

I have a question I am hoping someone here will know the answer to.

We are getting a second car which will be mine for learning to drive, and once I have passed my test my little run around for the first year or two while I build up no claims and get used to driving on my own (family car is quite a big beast). We have found a car which on paper at least ticks all the boxes I am looking for and is the right price.

Can my husband fill in the V5 in my details, if I am not physically there when he buys it?

Ideally, we want to register straight in my details rather than his.

(I trust DH judgement for checking and test driving the car 100% and I won't have a chance to look for at least 2 weeks, by which time this car will likely be gone).

Yes he can. I do it on behalf of customers too.
