Do you still read the old nursery rhymes to your children?

Youngest dd just found a very old book of nursery rhymes. I was surprised how well I remembered them all. My favourites were always 'Old King Cole' and 'Sing a Song of Sixpence'. I never liked 'Dr Foster' or 'Ding Dong Bell'.

I read or sang all of them to my two, when they were wee.
DD1, when she was about 18 months old, couldn’t pronounce “nursery rhymes”, so she would stagger into the sitting room carrying the big book of them, and demand imperiously: “Nervous rhymes!”
They’ve been known as nervous rhymes in our house ever since!

Currently playing nursery rhymes on Alexa!! to my 4 month old who is falling asleep on my arms! I'm also surprised how many I remember!
