I'll send you a link to the firm we used for ds for 2 years in the morning. We did not use Endsleigh as way too expensive and not very comprehensive coverage.

We’re with Nationwide and our house insurance also covered DS in a shared rented flat for free. Double check your own provider.

Check your household insurance first. we are with NFU and they have confirmed that for as long as DS is a student and his permanent address is at home, then he is covered by our insurance.

We used endsleigh contents and gadgets. Just make sure its not covered by home insurance first. Ours wasnt.

MerlotMayhem · 12/09/2018 20:15

I can't see that it is covered.

Can anyone recommend an insurance company please?

I used endsleigh when I was at uni. Good price and easy to sort online :)

Check your contents schedule for 'contents temporarily removed' and/or personal belonging/possessions cover. Many companies will cover students at uni under their parent's policy as long as they return home during holidays at least once a year.
