It's my birthday

And neither of my closest friends have said a word

I shouldn't mope, DH made me a lovely breakfast this morning and took control of getting DC to school so I could have a lie in, but I can't help but feel a little hurt that neither of my good friends has sent a text, fb message, phone call...nothing. None of us are party types so I'm sure they aren't secretly planning anything, it's not a big birthday either, so I'm just a little bit surprised and sad at the silence...WIBU to have another slice of cake to cheer myself up?

Well I didn't hear from either of them all day, but DH came home with wine and we had a rare takeaway so I've tried to put it out of my mind and enjoy this evening.
