Volunteer form

Hi,

I am wanting to be a special in the police (Volunteer constabulary) and was wondering if anyone could help with the section on what will make a you a good constable. I have been done retail and caring jobs (elderly and children) and have recently had my own DC and am looking at getting some experience before deciding if I want to join as a police officer! It has a limit of 250 words!

usually with thes ethings you have to think

• what skills / attributes are they looking for
• how can you show you meet them

e.g.
dealing with the public - show your experience in doing this and with 'difficult people'

keeping a cool head under pressure
working as a team
level of fitness
understanding different cultures
whatever
