I need ideas for presents for my mum, can you share things you've bought for people that have been well-received
My mum's 71 but looks in her fifties, glamorous, active, likes gardening and swimming and stuff.. Ill get her a bunch of flowers but I'm stumped as to what else! Tia :)

Maybe some fancy activewear? A leisure pass for somewhere nice? I got my mum some personalised gardening gear from notonthehighstreet.co.uk which she loved and got my mil a gorgeous blanket scarf with her initials which she adores. Some lovely albeit pricy stuff on there but it's usually good quality. My fil loves jigsaws and maps. I got him a jigsaw of his local area and the piece with his home is in the shape of a house.

Thanks make -I bought her some fancy ornate pretty gardening tools a few years ago-she's never used them, says they're too nice to get mucky! But thanks for the ideas-activewear is a good idea too. I'm off to notonthehighsteet now :)

Does she wear glasses? Prescription swimming goggles might go down well if she needs glasses and doesn't have them.

She does :) thanks for the ideas all.. I've left this until late which I never do usually, I've been disorganized this year.
