The museums are good. The world museum is by Lime Street (train station) but there are others on the docks - the Tate and slavery museum. The docks itself is well worth alook.

I'm not from Liverpool but visited in the summer with my 8 year old and baby. So I'm sure some natives can add to or correct me if wrong!

I passed the slavery museum too but wasn't able to go in. The docks are also right by Liverpool One, the main shopping area so that's always an option.

Does the 13 yo like football? My son did the Anfield tour too which was excellent and I'm sure the blues do an equally good one!

I loved Liverpool and would absolutely return!
