Any hairdressers around to help me out?

My hair currently looks like the first pic and I would like it to look like the second one. What would I need to ask for at the hairdressers? I never get what I want when I take a picture in to show them so I'd like to tell them exactly what I want done instead.

Your hair looks lovely as it is, but I'm aware that's not what you want to hear.
The other style looks like a blunt cut bob, with a side swept fringe, and blonde highlights.

Take the picture and ask the hairdresser what they need to do to make it look like that and you can maintain it at home.
