Do you check your bank statements for returns?

I have a pile of return receipts but it's so time consuming checking that the cash has gone in to my account. Does everyone check these?

Hell yes

Girlsnightin · 09/09/2018 17:18

I do, but only as when I used to work in retail they were a bit hit and miss. This was 20 years ago though!
I've never not had one returned, but can't stop the habit.

Yes! Every time the money is refunded but last year I had a £90 refund not processed until I called up and chased it. That made my pedantic checking worthwhile to me.

I have banking apps that I check. obsessively

TillyVonMilly · 09/09/2018 17:26

Yes I always check, it only takes a couple of minutes to login and look at your bank account, not like you’ve to wait for a monthly statement to arrive in the post.

Sandstormbrewing · 09/09/2018 17:41

Yes, but I don't send many returns and check my bank account at least once a day and my credit card a few times a week so it isn't difficult or time consuming.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 09/09/2018 17:50

Yep!! For onlon returns have had so many problems with New look only refunding half of what I've sent back. Surprised they don't think I've been trying it on with them. Definitely now check everytime

SoyDora · 09/09/2018 17:52

Yes, but I probably only have about 4 returns a year. I check my online banking on my phone every day anyway (fingerprint login, takes seconds), so I’d notice if it didn’t go back in.
