I noticed the spider today. Its sitting on its web just in front of the pulley wheel thingy on my sash window, in my kitchen shudder
I thought it might be a garden spider to start with because its a very similar shape goose pimply armed shudder, so wandered round google, as you do and it isn't.
Then I thought about the false widow full body shudder, found some pics and had to close them down because it looks like those.
I can cope with plughole spiders, I don't mind the long legged, thin bodied spiders that inhabit my house. But ANY spider that has a fat round abdomen gives me a huge case of the heebie jeebies.
What can I doooo! I am not going anywhere near it deliberately. I'm not going to use my hoover on it because knowing my luck it'll come back to haunt me. Its also helped with the flies. I thought it was a low fly zone, this year and now I know why.
Oh, I can't burn anything, because my landlord wouldn't like it and the charity shop I live above might be a tad miffed too.
