Should I bring daughter to hospital

I'm sorry for posting here but would really really appreciate any advice! We're on holidays in France the middle of nowhere. Nearest medical assistance is apparently a hospital an hour away. My four year old is complaining that it huts a lot when she wees. She's also having a lot of accidents and when she pees, it is only a trickle but is frequent. No temperature and she says nothing hurts apart from when she wees. I feel a bit conflicted as to whether to bring her to emergency department or not. I'm inclined to wait and see how she is but if she does need an antibiotic, I'd prefer to start it sooner rather than later. She has had a tough year and really needs this holiday.
Thank you to anyone that can help.

Have you got a pharmacy nearby?
It sounds like a UTI and she probably does need to be seen.

Sounds like a UTI, and if it is then at that age she needs antibiotics today. Please don’t delay getting her to a doctor because it could spread to her kidneys and make her very unwell.

Sounds like cystitis

I would take her. Better safe than sorry.

Is there a doctor near where you are?

GetOffTheTableMabel · 09/09/2018 14:45

Definitely take her. My dd (now 17) used to get frequent UTIs as a toddler if she ever had a bath with bubble bath in it. They only get worse and worse until antibiotics are administered, after which relief is pretty quick. It can become extremely painful.
A bath is very helpful for relieving the constant urge to go.

Def sounds like a uti. I get them and they are miserable. I would take her if possible. You can give her calpol for the pain too.
