Goddammit I was skinny (for me) six months ago...

But I’ve put on 5/6kg and it’s fucking annoying.

My circumstances have changed significantly (moved continents) and the last few months have been fairly stressful, but things have settled down a fair bit now and I still don’t seem to be able to do anything about it.

Posting for motivation, because trying on jeans that were too big for me at Christmas and too small for me now, is just depressing more than anything else...

You can do it! I might join you. I’m the biggest I’ve ever been and really done with it.

You’re on Rain. I’m so cross with myself. I’m actually the heaviest I’ve been for years too, it’s just happened so quickly.

Yep it happens. Had a lot of upheaval this year, and be then the heatwave sent me into ‘move as little as possible’ mode, and now I have two stone to lose. Problem is I work from home so can get away with very little activity. I need to get motivated to actively exercise because it won’t happen by itself.

What would you do if you could get motivated?

I have joined a new gym and have been going semi-regularly but it doesn’t take much to knock it down the priorities list. Got to make it something I just get done without question.

I lost over a stone last year (WW) and have put half a stone back on. I keep losing 1/2lb and then I slacken off and put it back on.

I'm determined to get it off over the next 2 months.

My Fitness pal - logging food and gym 3 times a week.

I’ve used MFP before but I think I need a looser type of food logging, where you’re not having to figure out every calorie, just somewhere to be honest about what you’re eating and it makes you think before reaching for a snack.

MFP has a scanner on the app now and a massive database of foods so it's not such a pain to log stuff. Once you build up a list of meals it gets much easier.

Weight Watchers really worked for me but they've since changed it and I don't like it as much.
