DVLA - pain in arse!

I didn't recieve my reminder to renew my driving licence and only noticed the date when renewing my car insurance. This gave me about 3 weeks.

I tried straight away and it kept saying my session timed out only a few pages in so I left it a few days.
Tried again and it let me get to the end only to time out as i pressed confirm payment. I haven't got any further since!
Has anyone got around this issue? Has anyone managed to renew without going to a PO? Looking online this is an issue that has been around for at least 4 years!

Stupid DVLA!

You just have to type very fast I find. Make sure you have everything required in front of you.

I had to do mine at the post office. Stupid dvla! Post office were very good though!

Had the same. Got to end of registration and it did it. Luckily I still have time

Glad it wasn't just me! I tried again on Monday night and had my passport number copied ready to paste in, as that was the only point I seemed to slow down at. It worked! Thank fuck for that!!

The DVLA website is still truly shit.
