Pinterest basic question

I have never used it before. I’m just trying to a do a mood board of new work wardrobe wish list. I’ve just about worked out how to collate the pics from websites. But how do I add my own text to it ie “Ted Baker boydfeiend jeans £80” else I won’t know where i found each thing?

Click on the little pencil icon on the right hand top of the picture, then you can write a description.

I tried that but the description isn’t then actually visible underneath the pic? I press save but then the words disappear?!
