Antibiotics help please

DD 10mo has a chest infection but is refusing all antibiotics, either clamping her mouth closed or spitting it out. All the usual tricks we use for Calpol aren't working and she's refusing food too.

Has anyone got any tips or tricks please?

My DC was like this. The only way we could get antibiotics in was by lying DC on the floor, holding their nose so mouth opened, squirt antibiotics in with the nurofen syringe then quickly hold mouth closed but release nose.
Sounds extreme but the need for antibiotics trumped everything else tbh.
