Two and a half years ago (while heavily pregnant with dd) I had glandular fever.
I dont feel as bad as I did then but it all feels v familiar. Glands ache ear ache scalp feels so tender and I'm shattered.
I also have depression and anxiety and going through a really bad time so wondered if it could just be that?

Yes, glandular fever can reoccur usually a bit more mildly, ime.

Yes, it can lay dormant and come back several times unfortunately.

Although those who I've known that have had it luckily only had it once.

Oh you can definitely have it recurring! I've had several times although never as bad as the first one. I think it's got milder/shorter with each bout

Certainly check with the GP but I seem to remember there's not a whole lot they can do for you after the first time. I seem to think they told me it wouldn't respond to antibiotics anymore
