New build house Issues can I get compensated

I'm livid and need some advice please.

To cut a long story short we have a new build and had a water leak a few weeks ago, noticed there was water dripping out of a light socket so called the builder as the house is still under warranty etc. Had an emergency call out, plumber found that the leak was coming from the bathroom at the top of our house, took the sink off etc and didn't have the part to fix the leak so he left all the sink off etc as there was no point putting it back on without the part. 2 hours later I'm in the kitchen and can hear a slow drip-drip-drip..... Look up and there's water coming through my celling and a patch of plaster has fallen off the wall/celling in my kitchen and subsequently there's water damage on each floor (4story townhouse) of the house. Turns out the plumber didn't isolate or shut off the taps in the bathroom properly. Okay fine fair enough we all make mistakes and the builders have said they will send out painters next month but today a different plumber came to fix the sink and has totally bodged it! He's left tiles sticking out where they were once flush and used transparent silicone when it was white and you can see parts of the old silicone through the new one. Also the sink hasn't gone back in flush it's sticking out of an inch! I'm.so cross as it's my home and it's been bodged. Does anyone know If I can get compensated for this? I don't want to share photos but the damage has been pretty bad to numerous walls and ceilings and now my bathroom looks shit. I'm just so fed up with making the calls explaining it to someone in the builders office who doesn't give a shit.

Why don't you contact NHBC or whoever your new build construction warranty is with? It means your raising an actual claim rather than talking to the builders and the liaise with them and can give them a kick up the backside. I believe they call it their resolution service.

Get the builder into see the work for themsleves. Insist it is all out right immediately. Take loads of photos too btw.

Is there still building going on on your development? If so, get the site manager to come and inspect the work, they're in the best position to send someone back out.
