What colour sweets are the BEST?

A law has passed. You can only have one colour for sweets from now one... what colour?

Red. I honestly find it difficult to believe people are seriously choosing green.

When dd was little, I convinced her that green sweets were the nicest, followed by yellow and I'd 'begrudgingly' eat all the purple, black and red ones. Took years for her to cotton on.

I have no morals.

Black. Blacker than black. Preferably if they're licorice or blackcurrant

Though brown (butterscotch sugar free from Aldi) are my all time faves.

Green every time. They just taste so green. Especially wine gums

Red, as long as they're strawberry or raspberry, and not cherry.

I used to like yellow opal fruits but as they are gone, green.

Few colours are safe though. Green can sometimes be Apple which is gross, or red tricks you when it's cherry. If there was a law that stated green had to be lime I think I'd want that.

Black then red if fruit pastilles or fruit gums.

Green if it’s always lime flavour- if that’s not guaranteed then I’ll have yellow.

Orange. But I can’t separate the colour from the flavour, so I’m confused!

Orange smarties, orange Opal Fruits Starburst, orange wine gums, all the best ones.

M&Ms I’d have to say blue just for novelty value. In fact we used M&Ms as counters in a game while we were camping and when the DCs ate the blue ones I was horrified - “they’re worth £500 each!!!! Stop eating them!” Browns were £5 each.

I'm not a fan of purple. I've never liked blackcurrant and I've never understood the popularity.
