I am currently 15 weeks pregnant, since been in the 2nd trimester i have had sever headaches/migraines and some sickness aswell. I didnt experience any of this in my 1st trimester. After going back and forward from the doctors i am struggling to find anything that is helping/getting rid of these headaches. its affecting my work as i get them week in week out, i'm off work at least once a week.
I wondered if anyone had any advice to give or any thing that helped them. i'm at the point of willing to try anything at this stage.
thanks

Have you spoken to your midwife about it? I found the midwifes a lot more helpful than the docs during the 2nd trimester hope you feel better soon xx

I have a midwife app next week, but I have spoken to her over the phone and can't say she was overly helpful about it. she said if it was to continue that i should speak to the docs which is what I have done. thank u x

I found it helpful to soak my feet in very hot water. It is an old wives tales to relieve headaches but somehow it does have an effect.

i am trying to take hot baths and put a ice cold flannel on my head but this only seems to relieve the pain whilst i'm in the bath and for around half an hour after.
I had 3 baths yesterday Grin

Could you speak to your maternity unit and speak with a different midwife? I'm abit naughty like that if I'm not happy I'll ring and speak with someone else xx

Paracetamol is generally fine during. pregnancy (mention/check with midwife though). Make sure the baths you have aren’t too hot though as that can be a risk (not to wanting worry you but worth being aware of)

that is very useful thank you, I have been having hotter than your average bath, will stop this going forward. thank you.
Yeh paracetamol does not work, i was even put on co-dydramol that did not work. outside of the realms of pregnancy these tablets would work fine for me, but the severity of my headaches/migraines nothing seems to be able to tough it.
